In the 1970s, brothers Andy Martin and Tom Martin explored a small number of caves and over 100 abandoned mines in the Southwestern United States. Their mining explorations included locations in the Grand Canyon, southern Arizona, California, New Mexico and Nevada, as well as Australia.
